Izlem Erdem

İzlem Erdem graduated from the Economics Department (English) of Marmara University, Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, in 1990.  She attended Advanced Management Program of Harvard Business School in 2016. İzlem Erdem began her career at İşbank as a Junior Economist in the Economic Research Division in 1990 and she was promoted to Assistant Manager position in 1998. After being appointed to the Capital Markets Division of the Bank in 2000, Erdem promoted to the Unit Manager position in 2004. She became the Head of the Economic Research Division in 2008 and in 2018 she also got the title of Chief Economist of İşbank. In March 2022 she was appointed as Deputy Chief Executive Officer of İşbank. Now, she is both CFO and Sustainability Leader of the Bank. In addition to her responsibilities at the Bank, she is currently the Chairperson of the Board of İş Yatırım Ortaklığı A.Ş. and the Board of Imecemobile Agricultural Platform Company. She was also the Member of the Board of Directors of Şişecam throughout the April 2015- March 2022 period.
